My Strat style pickups are wound with true vintage tone in mind. These pickups are modeled after pickups from vintage guitars. They are not created from specs found on the internet, which I have found many to be misleading. I know this because I own vintage strats and have been inside more vintage Strats than I can remember. For this reason I’ve kept detailed logs on every aspect of the pickups in these guitars, from the magnet diameters and lengths, right down to the actual wire diameter and insulation . No stone was left unturned. I chose the 1960 and 1965 Strats because they were the most fantastic sounding examples to represent the black bottom and grey bottom era of pickups.
